Sree Padmanabha swamy temple

One Mr.Sundar raj files a suit so that the temple should not fall on wrong hands..But now..The temple has now become to be known as the Richest Lord in the whole of India. It seems to be a great thing. The media is happy to publish news though they are not yet sure of the news. The Court appointed Officials puts the figures around 75000 crore rupees worth without taking into account its antique values. The business people around the temple are happy that their business would go up. The people who occupy the temple property without paying rent are the most worried. Those arrogant security people at the temple are worried at the Government's mention that they would post Police security. The politicians have already begun to dream an entry into the Trust (one can imagine the politicians fighting to post their people in Guruvayur Temple Management. Down the years, the very same media will be busy throwing out scam stories.
Imagine, a small bunch of keys tightly held by the Tantri. Had he a slight knowledge of the amount he would never have had his sleep all these years. He guarded the treasure with a deep sense of bhakthi. He never had a liking for a sand of gold. The Kings, had they the slightest inkling to own a new car or anything latest..and with the privipurse of the Government not able to meet a part of even the temple expenses, it was they who guardians to this treasure yet living a humble living with no withdrawals from this treasure for their or their tribes upkeep..can any laud be loud enough?
Now there is another set of thinkers waiting for the socialism tag to be added to this treasure.

Besides, the Nizam like Museums of Hyderabad Palace will be upcoming..

But my worry is "Will i ever be able to go into the temple as free as i was going..and there are innumerable people around the temple who cannot sleep without seeing the Lord once in a day..and can they pray to HIM as freely as they were doing/. Cameras seen and hidden, Securities of different and at different places, restrictions galore.. are all that awaiting us the poor folks around the temple.
We are slowly inclined to make the visit in long gaps and pray at home before the beautiful Lords picture with the beatuful Ona Villu.

  1. agree with you.. it is pure example of sincerity and honesty and dedication.. those people should be honoured.. let's all suggest these should be now seperated and kept in a museum which could easily be constructed outside the temple in the vast area available. and the temple be left free and serene as before.. i too had the opportunity to visit the premises yesterday.. but feelings were not the same.. the earlier we shift those valuables to a safe place the better for the devotees..
